Head of Security Extensions & DevOps
Martin Barnard is the Head of Security Extensions Development & DevOps at HighSide, responsible for Microsoft Teams security extensions architecture and development in addition to overseeing global DevOps. Martin brings a diverse background in computer science, and information security to bear on his role with HighSide. A self-taught hacker, programmer and self professed computer geek, Martin has been a professional computer programmer since the early 90's.
Having spent many years throughout Europe designing and implementing casino surveillance tracking and audit software systems, he has a unique appreciation for both sides of the privacy and security coin. Martin spends his free time playing with microcontrollers and embedded single board computers.
